A notebook can hold more than plans: a train ticket, a line from a letter, a thought you would otherwise forget.
A small charm, a personal touch
Etsy’s Spring/Summer 2026 report recorded journal-charm searches up 395% and traveller-journal searches doubling. The comparison covers US signed-in activity in the three months to 10 February 2026 against the same period a year earlier, using normalised search volume. These figures describe that seasonal snapshot, not current October demand.
Make one page today
Start with a date and one sentence. Add a scrap of paper, a small drawing or a colour that fits the day. Leave room around the details. You do not need a perfect layout or a new collection of supplies.
A letter worth keeping
Write about one ordinary thing you noticed this week. A short, specific note often feels more personal than a beautifully decorated page with nothing much to say.
